OUR 4 STEP PROCESS

Supporting your journey to full function, step by step.

Your first appointment is all about understanding how your pain or discomfort affects your life and work. Dr Alex Freeman (Chiro) will take the time to hear your story, medical history, and personal health goals, ensuring your care is centred on what matters most to you.

We Listen To You

 1.

We conduct a detailed assessment including neurological, orthopedic, and musculoskeletal examinations to identify the underlying cause of your symptoms. Our aim is to address the source of your issue, not just the pain.

Assessment

2.

Based on the assessment, Dr Freeman (Chiro) designs a personalised treatment plan using manual adjustments and other proven techniques. Every plan is customised to fit your body’s needs and your lifestyle, helping you regain function and reduce pain effectively.

3.

Custom Treatment Plan

Once your initial goals are achieved, we work with you to maintain your progress. This may include periodic adjustments, rehabilitation exercises, and advice on posture and movement to keep you functioning at your best long-term.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Freeman Chiropractic is located at 249B Albany Hwy, Victoria Park, WA 6151.

  • Not at all. You are free to see a chiropractor on your own accord. However, if your GP decides that chiropractic care is the best option for you, your GP can provide you with up to 5 EPC (enhanced primary care) visits which are covered by Medicare.

  • It completely depends on you, your goals, and your problem. How long has the pain or concern been around for? How severe is it? How healthy do you want to become?

No two people are the same, therefore, no two treatment plans are the same. Based on Dr Alex Freeman's (Chiropractor) findings from your history and the examination process, we will tailor a treatment plan specifically tailored to you.

  • ‘Remarkably’ according to a New Zealand study.

The New Zealand Government published an objective study of chiropractic. Many issues were studied, including cost effectiveness, chiropractic education and training, safety issues, and patient satisfaction.

Among other things, the resulting 377 page document concluded that chiropractic would have a positive influence on the health of a country.

The commission investigated two safety issues that had been commonly raised by chiropractic critics. The first being the safety of chiropractic spinal adjustments, and the second, the notion that seeking chiropractic care delays medical treatment. After extensive inquiry, the researchers found both safety concerns to be unfounded. Because of the lack of evidence to the contrary, the commissioners determined chiropractic care to be remarkably safe.

  • On your first visit you will meet with Alex Freeman to discuss your current health concerns. He will ask additional questions about your health and history to get a clear picture of your entire health profile.

From there we will complete a comprehensive, neurological, postural, orthopedic, and chiropractic examination on you, to help correctly diagnose your problem. At this point, it is possible you may be referred for x-rays (bulk billed through medicare).

Alex will then explain your condition, how chiropractic can help, and discuss treatment options with you.

If it is determined you are a good candidate for chiropractic care, you will be adjusted on your first visit.

  • Our patients present to us with many different conditions including but not limited to; back pain and sciatica, neck pain, headaches, sports specific injuries including running injuries, surfing and swimming injuries, hip knee and ankle pain, shoulder pain, dizziness and vertigo and stress related pains.
